Basics of the Linux Mint operating system. Some very basic, low end computers now come with Linux instead of Windows and Mac OS. If you are unfamiliar with Mint (a version of Linux), this class is for you. You will learn the basics of computing through the lens of this powerful and free operating system.
Basics of PCs and computing for beginners. Learn about the keyboard, mouse, different types of computers (laptops, desktops, & tablets), and how to use them to perform everyday tasks. If you have never touched a computer (or it has been a while!), this class is for you.
